Have ordered quite a bit of stuff for the car with Euro Car Parts. Using their codes the prices looked attractive (ps "lastchance25" gets 25% off anything). However searching for brake pads I came across carparts4less.co.uk which is the exact site layout of ECP. When compared to ECP they all have the same item numbers!!! Fuel filter at ECP £49, on sister site advertised at £33!!!!.

Yes its eurocarparts under another name. Web only though.
If you get the wrong one can you pop into the store and change it though?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
What car is that for?
If the latter part of their business is online then of course it will be cheaper, they will have a large warehouse - compared to dozens of retail outlets costing hundreds of thousands of pounds to house and staff.0 -
I bought some parts at my local eurocarparts yesterday and used the click and collect service and used the 'PARTS25' at the checkout for 25% discount.
This is valid untill the end of December0 -
yeah EPC with discount codes are great, the sister site is online only, so if you have issues you have to post it back. I just use the vouchers and use click and collect.
The ECP vouchers are widely available, if you are a member of a special car marque forum chances are ECP have a sponsered section on that forum which gives you year round discounts.0 -
I bought some stuff last year using click and collect also.
I did ask if you could add stuff on when your there. But they said you cannot.
If you missed anything out you will pay the normal price.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Beware Carparts4less.co.uk, see reviews here:

Lots of unhappy peeps. Lousy courier and poor/non-existant after-sales service.0 -
It's just optimising their marketing, just like people continuing to use B&Q instead of Screwfix, same stuff, same owners, lower prices. However, if you are remotely into cars you use your local factor, always cheaper, always more flexible and always giving heads up on the deals. (like all the cheap tyres now going begging because of the new labeling).0
