How long will it take to "activate" PAC code
my 12month Tmobile contract ends on 12th May, I called to gat my PAC code and they said there will be a charge for the PAC code until 11th May which then will be free.
But since my cut-off day is 12th May, if the PAC code is not instantly transfer and activated to the new operater, I will be charged another month line rental, which this whole idea is sort of unfair.
so my question is if I get the PAC code on 11th May and sign a new contract elsewhere, does it mean it will instantly go through so my original contract will be cancelled without being charge another month?
the processing time, does it make a difference whether I sign the new contract online or in store?

processing time for a pac is usually 5 working days (so 7 overall days) porting wont take place on a weekend i believe and there can be some disruption
from your timeline you should give your pac on the 5th may
they should tell you when you give it the date and time of the portYes Your Dukeiness
