I believe that anything over the £18 threshold for incurring VAT has it paid by Play. I've noticed a message about VAT being prepaid on packages I've received from them.

Must say I'm not too impressed by their prices these days but it's a reliable company!

play provide an excellent service, really fast dispatch and no extra costs. at the moment delivery is free. highly recomended.(I actually bought martins book from them the other day as its the best price on the net):money:

Hi there. Play.com is probably one of my most used sites! I have never had any problems with them, and on the few occasions when my orders have gone missing in the post, they have just resent them again, no questions asked!

I have to agree with the other posters, I've used them for years and spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds, I've never had to pay import duty and their customer service is excellent, a few times the order never turned up and after a simple phone call the item was resent with no extra charge and recently after failing to be able to deliver of a miss priced item they gave all that tried to order it a £10 voucher.

Definitely one of my favorite internet sellers.

I have ordered plenty of small and large items. Around 50 altogether in the last 5 years. Never had a problem. One item didn't turn up they resent it no problem. Never paid charges for import
