I wonder if Benefit Cash Card will allow you to pay your parking fine should you happen to receive a ticket by an unfortunate circumstance (yeah these things happen). Also, what about credit card debt...would they allow you to pay it back?

Johnny, you sound rather bitter and quite angry? Why? Is it down to the 'scroungers' you hate with such gusto? Or is it that you actually don't like your job?

If the latter, then whay not get another superior, higher sataus and better paid position? After all, it should be as easy for you to change jobs as you claim it is for others to find one.
daddy unemployed used to hit him and mummy also unemployed used to... well lets not say here.

And now he gets put down walked over in life so comes on a money saving forum like this to make him feel good.

People should realise that once the card payment system comes in place, they won't be able to make credit card repayment. Nowadays, it becomes very difficult if you don't have a credit card to pay for services.

I hope people are able to see domino effect this will bring. It's not about buying luxury items here. Although the welfare credit card may allow you to make payments to the utility companies, I'd imagine you have to waive your monthly direct debit from your bank account hence you will lose out on the price discount.

Also, if there is no regular deposit into your bank account, the bank may close your account.

The card will cost more money to implement it but will save no money for the government :rotfl:

Should benefits be paying to run a car?
    Unless disability issues etc.

Depends on where you live I guess. There are places in the country side where you have to have a car.

Slavery? Corruption? Truth - behind of it all. You decide.

Well if you love your job half as much as you say, then perhaps you should concentrate on doing your job to the best of your abilities rather than lecturing others.

These days, even people in work aren't safe anymore. They could be doing their best job but all it need is a company to go bust or go through austerity re-organisation and you are out. May not be their fault but no doubt they'll be joining the queue, and part-timers will be put under more pressure to search for full-time work even though a full-time work may not suit them e.g. looking after family, illness and full-time would be too much etc
