HELP! Part needed - Main Heater Exchange - for Ideal responce 120 - PN 795934 - ASAP

Hi guys,

I urgently need a replacement part-

Main Heater Exchange - for Ideal responce 120
(Welded connection type)
PART N - 795934

British Gas said they have just been discontiued....and cant fix it with out this.

Can anybody help?

The boiler went out of production circa 2002 i think.
So you'll be looking for a spare part that is probably right on the end of production / support (assuming they make spares for the "standard'ish" 10 years after boiler production finishes).

You could try phoning ideal directly and see if they have one gathering dust in stores.

Edit: not that this helps you but i found one for a response 80 and they want £830 for it...

Thanks, found out that the part was Discontinued on the 4th December (2 weeks ago), so some one must have one?

if ac's price is anything to go by i think it's new boiler time

Dont bother.

Call Ideal, I believe they do a discounted boiler replacement for these awful boilers, or they used to.

Trouble is you will have another Ideal!!!

Time for a new boiler and get a decent make.
