That's this months target made.
£1,000 down. £11,000 to go...
Also lost more weight than my target for the month too. January has run very smoothly so far!0 -
Today I passed my CF1 financial exam at the first attempt, the future is looking bright. January really has been a good month for me. Let's hope it can continue over into February! I'll make a small deposit to get it underway tomorrow0

Started studying for the next financial module toward the qualification. Hopefully get in on an exam for that by June time. This one is about protection. Not too exciting but just finished chapter three.
Also only one pound away from a one stone weight loss so far this year. Joined a new Football team and that's going to help push me on as well as meeting new people.
Just been paid too so put another £250 away. Will see how the current account looks in ten days or so before putting in a bit more, I'm going to a London Comic Convention next weekend so plan for a bit of money to be heading out when I go there.0 -
Hi Robin,
You're progressing really well towards your goals; the exercising particularly impresses me - my body is in desperate need of exercise and you are inspiring me to go cycling; so thank you! I like the way you've set up you're monthly tracker in post 2 and 3.
Best of luck with it; I hope to follow your progress throughout the year0 -
It's going pretty well overall thankfully, the new job is coming along nicely so long may that continue and will be hoping for good opportunities in that department also.
I'm pushing myself quite hard on the exercise program though, definitely need to self-motivate or you won't hit your targets. Really worth setting up a monthly tracker like I have in post #2 and #3 though in my opinion. Just easier to see the month-to-month progress and where you excelled or let yourself down.0 -
So, February pretty much over and the targets have been hit again despite a few things holding me back.
I thought the weight loss would be a bit more difficult due to a busy month and it being a little shorter but it's worked out ok and lost almost as much as in January. Now I'm 30% complete on my total target and only 21lbs away from my lowest ever adult weight.
I also thought that my saving would be a bit more difficult due to the fact I took a weekend trip to London for a comic convention but kept my spending within a reasonable budget there and should have enough to keep me going until payday again. £2,000 for the year so far and the previous years ISA runs out on May 9th so I'll be getting 3.3% on that come through in a few months.0 -
Two weeks to go until the end of this month and it's a little more of a struggle this month. We'll see how it turns out toward the end of the month but hopefully I'll at least get close and maybe try and make up the difference later in the year. I think last months comic convention trip contributed to the reason.
I also just made the terrible decision to join Kickstarter. There are a bunch of cool projects on there and I've backed one and intend to back another next month. Hopefully I won't spend too much on there.
The weight loss is coming along still. Almost at a stone and a half now in pretty quick time.0 -
Hi Robin,
I think you are still doing very well. Even on a difficult month you saved 750 and lost 7lbs - not bad! Keep up the good work.0 -
Your doing great, looking forward to to seeing your monthly success.0
