Anyone know where is the best place to compare motorbikebike insurance?
My OH is 30 and has just brought an SP2. He has no none claims as he hasnt had a bike insurance policy for a few years and his policy lapsed.
he has had his bike licence for 11 years and clean licence.
Any tips appreciated... I just got a quote for £8500!! third party! the bike is only worth £6500!
thanks

Try here. http://www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk/ No idea about their bike insurance, but car insurance is competitive.0

Oh and a trick that works on their car insurance is to try third party fire and theft and fully comp as these can be cheaper than third party only. Not sure why. You can change the cover type in the same quote as much as you like until you commit to buying.0

Stick all the approved security you can get on the bike - alarm, immobiliser, smartwater, ground anchor.0

Only if they like your postcode, also try Bennetts and Carole Nash. Unfortunately the SP2 is a bad to crash bike due to the position of the radiators, a slight drop can result in a big claim.
If ebike like your postcode, it can be worth using them for 18 months to get 2 years NCB which is what I did.0 -
