Cancelling Sky Advice please

Options
Hi I'm just out of contract now with SKY and am considering cancelling as i'm paying £36 a month for entertainment and HD, generally all we watch is free to air channels, only things that will be missed are the recording functions and ATTHERACES and think £36 for this is terrible value.

I would like a discount but would not be devastated if i did actually have to cancel, as think we could get by on 'council telly'

Any tips on what to say to get a decent discount or should i just take plunge and cancel, think my 3 yr old daughter would miss it the most as all her programmes are recorded.

Am actually a little nervous about ringing! Thoughts advice appreciated.

Write a cancellation letter stating that you don't want any phone calls with offers. Send it Recorded Delivery. That way you don't have to deal with anyone by phone and you'll be certain of saving money.
