ooh I'm intrigued. Did you mix the cranberry into the flapjack mixture? x0 -
miss empty..yes i did was really simple, mine was one with whole berrys rather than a jelly type so now and again you get a whole gloopy sweet cranberry. im the only one who loves it but id be eating it forever lol..was getting board of cheese and cranberry "jam" sandwiches. Now i still have half a jar of shredded maramalade to use up!
Oh got a £5 gift voucher from fab in the post, so see if theres something for that on the site and hopefully i can get a gift for someone for just postage..if im lucky lolCompers challenge 27/70

Had to transfer the savings to the main account to cover the overdraft!. I really cannot seem to keep to a budget at all this year. Things are just not on my mind properly.
I was pleased that I found the power/charger for my Golite SAD lamp. I hate to know what a new one was going to cost. I was about to order one, when I had one last look in the beddroom at the boxes under the bed and found it. Phew.
Maybe getting time with the lamp will lift my moods and that will get me to be more ontop of all of the things that I should be doing.
I went to do an order with Asda. Next delivery is next monday. I put an order on, and then I tried an Tesco, who can deliver tomorrow. So we hopefully will get bread and milk, etc tomorrow.
I dont really like Mr T as much, but as I struggle to get about in this cold weather it will have to do.
My heating is on as I am so cold. Again I will just have to adjust the budget later when i am feeling more up too it. Not so frugal of me, but I am only human, and have to face up to the fact that depression has me in its grip at the moment. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Oh Mooloo I hope your lamp helps you hun. I think its very hard at this time of the year, just after christmas, dark days etc. Have you got anyone you can talk to or are you not in the mood for talking? We're all here xx
I haven't had the best frugal day today, treated a friend to lunch it was only £9.60 but I felt very guilty, we enjoyed ourselves though! Went to Mr T's, no bargains so just grabbed what I needed.
Tomorrow morning I'm stuck in waiting for edf to take my electicity key meter out, yay! Going to spend the morning cleaning and baking I think.Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.
Keen to live a healthly lifestyle and save money0 -

Hi all, just popping in for a quick update.
Have had a horrible virus for the last few days, both kids are ill too. Haven't been out so been pretty frugal apart from an impulsive Indian takeaway meal last night £18.40  in all honesty I simply couldn't face cooking dinner last night as I was feeling so horrible.
Planning to use up whatever food I've got for the next week but might have to buy some fruit as we've pretty much run out.0 -
mooloo jan/feb always leave me feeling low i think its the lack of daylight, coldness and generally feeling tired makes you feel really low. I do hope you feel better soon i just keep thinking that spring is on its way.
Bakingmad I wish all your family a speedy recovery
take care everyoneYou can if you think you can .0 -
Today is Blue Monday. Apparently the most depressing day of the year and it sure is living up to it for me. The boyfriend and I had a major argument last night that started from a stupid miss communication, which ended up with us both saying things that in a few days we will regret. So today has been a very Blue Monday.
Good things from today, took in left overs for lunch so didn't go out and spend any money. Woke up to the roof tops with a nice covering of snow, son was rather excited, but it hasn't come to much
Getting an upgrade on my mobile, 2 year contract, £18.50 a month, have to pay £30 for the fone, Samsung Galaxy S3 titanium. Future proof and I should have it for more than the 2 years.
I ordered 'the takeaway secret' and 'more takeaway secrets'. After all the reviews on mse. I'm rather excited to start trying it.
Hope ur all having a good day, and if not, just think Blue Monday is almost over!Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb
