Just wondering whether anyone is doing anything to make a pound as I'm not sure I'll have one around each day :-S
I have already put in a £2 coin because I didn't have a £1 coin that day. And I may make up a £1 with 50ps but I am also doing the 20p & 50p saver challenges so I need to keep them for that really! It's up to you, depends how strict you want to be with your rules. If you don't have a £1 around one day you could make it up with change & maybe put in a bit extra? Better to end the year with more saved!0 -
Just deposited my first £1 in my saver tin :-) didn't realise it would hold as many as it will! Won't need to bank them for 2 months.*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*

Right am going to get started with the challenge again this year - managed to £360 through credit union savings but has all but gone on car repairs and dd's school trip next year. Think that is a bit like cheating though tbh since it gets taken direct from wages so I have never 'seen' it iyswim.
So in 2013 am aiming for the £1 a day as well - we are planning to have a very frugal year so should be scope for saving up and paying off debts. Want to spend the year in the black for a rare change.
Thanks Chicky for setting up the thread again.:TMortgage £119,533 going down slowly
