Don't receive my student finance until the 7th so the last few pound coins I've got kicking around in my purse will be needed! Glad I gave myself a head start in the days between Christmas & New Year. I promise to stick a few extra ones in the pot when I'm able to!

Morning all. I made my first payment towards £365. Put £4 in the tin last night. I will try and keep adding to it throughout the month then make up the shortfall on payday

Received a late Christmas card yesterday from a relative with some money in so that should keep me going until student loan day!

Was clinging on to my last £1 coins before this, but £4 has gone in the pot today! :)

I'd like to join as well please! Just using a money box I have already, with masking tape on the bottom! I don't want to touch it as it is for next Christmas.
Have already put in £4 to make up for the first 2 days of January, and a lucky £2 coin extra! :)

  • Could I please join?
I have already signed up two other savings challenges and have an emergency fund goal to reach as well as my debts to plough through.
BUT......it would be lovely to have €365 to spend either in the weeks leading up to Christmas 2013 or in the Sales next year.

We are building a house and should be in it by then (fingers crossed!) and it would be lovely to have a little fund to buy Christmas decorations with (tree, candles for the windows, wooden advent calendar, crib, some festive dishes etc.)

On the other hand it would also be lovely to invest in a new coat and boots!!! :-)

The challenge with this challenge will be not to give in to the temptation of dipping into the funds during the year!

    Thanks Chicky :-)
