I deal with a large amount of change on a daily basis, so yes, I'm sure I can!

This should be my cabbing tax bill (I only go out about 3 nights a month now), so it would be a nice challenge!

  • I'd love to join - I always save up my 20p coins so it's time to upgrade haha! I hate not being able to enjoy the sales after Christmas because we're too busy paying off cards etc. Definitely want to turn things around for next year!
  • Another £4 gone in ours for today and tomorrow x
    2 week 5:2=5.5lb off.

  • Can I join in too please? I'd like to save to lots of £365, one for each of my two boys - half for Christmas presents and half for sales spending :)

I really need to get back on the money saving wagon, I took a big tumble off when DS2 arrived last year!

Oh that is such a good idea - 365 pounds for Christmas sales!! That's exactly how much I would like to spend on Clarks shoes, a new coat/jacket and a few new tops :) I normally save 300-400 per month out of my 950 salary, but that goes towards some medical things.
I am planning to split my budget into a few main categories: anything paid above 900 goes into ISA, 300 - rent, 400 - short term savings and 200 for food, tickets, clothes etc. So I will try to cut on food and clothes to save for my indulgences in January. Can't wait :)
  • I have topped up my tin with another 10 x£1.00 coins.

Thats me paid up till 20th January 2013

No need to me to add anymore until 21st January but I'm doin it now cos I know I am gonna be very poor in January so £1.00 coins will be much needed probably.

  • I need to save for Christmas after, quite frankly, a shocking display of overspending this year. I've put £6 in for the end of December already and will start saving more in January. Christmas is ridiculously expensive here as we have a lot of birthdays as well - DD1 on 7th December (she will be 6 next year), DD2 on 2nd December (will be 1 next year) and 3 of the grandparents in December as well. I did not do well, although I did have a baby on 2nd December so I took my eye off the ball slightly... So I'm in!
