Cannot PRAISE O2 Broadband enough

I get O2 Broadband for half price, £7.50per month as I have an O2 mobile phone account.

I have telephoned their helpline a couple of times, the people at O2 are Very Helpful, which is refreshing these days, the problem was sorted out quickly.

The O2 Helpline is a Freephone 0800 number, not an expensive premium rate number.

The people at O2 are UK based, they can understand and be understood, anyone that has used an India call centre will know whet I mean..

In short:

O2 Customer Service is Excellent, I would recommend it to anyone. :T

I have tried AOL, O2, now Virgin Media, and O2 was by far the best (mind you the other two were hopeless)

Quite a bit different from my experiences with them , several times I had to phone up due to loss of connection or huge speed drops etc.

I kept getting told to conect to the test socket while they tested the line for 24 hours every time I called up ( no fault was ever found with my side of the master socket ) O2 never admitted to there ever being a fault on the line or their equipment and would just say it seems to be working fine now and leave it at that or promise to track down the fault and report back to me but they never did , my guess is that it was just oversubscribed and they wouldn't admit to it as I've been with several other isp's and never had any connection problems with any of them.

I've now moved away to Plusnet and am sorry I kept on believing the O2 lies and broken promises , I should never had stayed with them for so long.

I find that their customer support, although not the fastest to resolve an issue, is at least competent enough to eventually get there unlike a few other ISPs I've been with.

However, trying to cancel with them - I've been waiting five days for my MAC code...

'aint it strange ? My "customer support" was truly appalling - but they gave me a MAC instantly when I finally reached breaking point.........
