Did I make a good decision?

Hi all,
I've just gotten off the phone to 3, and after spending the last 5 days arguing to reach a better deal (Was planning to go to T-Mobile for their iPhone 4S, Full Monty Plan for £26), I reached a nice lady who finally offered me the new LG Nexus 4 on the One Plan for £28 a month with no upfront cost.
This includes the free phone;
2000 any network minutes
5000 3-to-3 minutes
5000 texts
All you can eat data +tethering
for £28 a month for 24 months.
I planned to buy the phone SIM-Free, but due to needing it urgently and buying a SIM-Only with 2000 mins costing about £20, the cost would be higher.
The phone comes on Wednesday, but I was just hoping someone could tell me if I've made a good deal or not?
Thanks in advance

No you have not got a good deal there.
Yes the phone selected is marginally better than the 4s, although since there is cheaper packages, even with 3, for better phones, sgs3, one x+, xperia t.
If you push it you should be able to get the same deal for £24, on any of the above 3 handsets, recommendations below.
SGS3 - Best for HQ video recording and playback
One X+ - Best for web browsing, and has great built in memory
Xperia T - Best for Camera, 13MP, and best build.
Although all of above are great, I have given what sets them apart, each one will do everything quite adequately.0 -

Did you specifically want a iPhone? If you did then no matter how good the phone is you'll always wish you had bought the iPhone instead.ShahinTehShiz wrote: »The phone comes on Wednesday, but I was just hoping someone could tell me if I've made a good deal or not?
Not related to this but if your not sure and thinking of return it DO NOT even turn the phone on. If you do then you'll void the DSR as the software in the phone has been used.
Three view the DSR 7 day period as a chance to examine the phone NOT trial it. I know it's a narrow view but that's Threes view and better you know than not if you wish to return it under the DSR.0 -
It's the 16GB model, and no I did not mind if it was the iPhone, it was just what I used as an example and a reason to leave 3, so they would be more inclined to actually try and get me to stay with them.0
