Staying in a Quad room

Hi, We are staying at a hotel in a City in England, which allows for two adults and two children. I was wondering if it would be OK if we took along three children (one over 16) and two adults in one Quad room. Are they even likely to check? It is a large 4 star chain hotel.

Premier Inn are happy ... we check in together and they know we have five in a room - they even mark it up for breakfast in the morning where 2 adults pay and the 3 kids eat free, so I know they have a record of how many in our room. Best to be honest and upfront in my opinion.
