Corr and I thought I did well £8 at a car boot....it couldn't have been used more than 1/2 dozen times0

In my working days, I gave mine away to a friend's daughter, as I knew she baked a lot, and had a few children ~ after reading this thread, I sort of regret it, but will have to make do with food processor ~ it aways reminds me when I have to scrape new potatoes ~ that was the main thing I used it for at the time, hence it was disposed of.0

I bought an A701 off ebay for fifty quid (£35 plus £15 postage). Bit pricey but I've never seen one at a carboot sale or in a chazza (and gawd knows I've looked!) It came with dough hook, k beater and whisk, a bowl and a liquidiser. Ebay seems to have every possible attachment for sale. I just bought the mincer attachment. A colleague just gave me a great recipe for meat balls - I can't wait to try em! (On soup diet at the mo due to head cold.)
It is like a beautiful sculpture on my worktop. The chef came with the original recipe book too. It gave me some good ideas and some big laughs as well. (Bacon and cheese jelly anyone?)0
