  • Shame you didn't take it to Scotland to sell...proper 4x4s are sought after.
A mate sold his during winter months and made money on it as they are the only thing in a really harsh winter...

    you know whats really great.

Paying Zero a month for a car that maybe old but every bit as reliable and as fast as new car.

Mine might not turn heads , but it is payed for and usually in front of you. ;)
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

  • Mere 53 - Congrats on new car and price drop :T

Trets77 - I'm with you, our family work horse ( aka wife's car) is 5 yrs old, bought and paid for and never misses a beat, my cars out the box so no worries for 3 years with it and I will probably blitz the finance on it to. I think there is merit in buying new cars too, mainly because it supports thousands of jobs in the uk and abroad and you wouldn't be able to buy a decent cheaper car if it hadn't been a new car at some point.

Mine turns heads and cost £430 last year with 21k miles on it. It has gone up in value since I bought it.

Most head turning is accompanied by genuine interest (which surprised me) rather than the sympathy/derision I expected.

Get yourself a nice 1990 Maestro.
    Can I help?
