We're currently paying:
Phone - £14.60 (rising to 15.45 in Jan)
TV - £5.70 on BT Vision
Broadband - £24.70 per month on 8mb BT (and it's not even inifinity!!!)
What are the cheapest services, according to our usage?
We are not contracted to any of the services except for the phone (until 31st December) so all can be cancelled pretty quickly. Also, we don't use the phone at all, and it only exists for the purposes of having internet.
BT have quoted us a reduction on the broadband to £18 per month (that will be infinity) or £10.65 per month with 40GB usage (but still 8mb).
I'm thinking of getting rid of BT Vision because our new TV has freeview inbuilt, and I can't see any point of having Vision to provide us with an unused pause/record facility.
According to Samknows my exchange allows for everything but wireless services (whatever they are).
Also, I will be looking to do a fair bit (but not loads) of downloading.

Hi Gray-Fox,
£24.70 per month on 8mb BT Broadband - (and it's not even inifinity!!!)
REALLY?!? Jeez! I pay £13.25 for Infinity, and it's unlimited too.
Have you never asked for a discount? Or is this your first year with them?0 -
Oh, and why are you paying £5.70 for BT Vision Essentials? Because thats not the price. As it's only £4. Rising to £5 in January.0

Hi VisionMan,
I have no idea why my housemate decided to get all of these "deals" hence why I'm now sorting them out!0 -
Hi VisionMan,

Then you would need to find out the full facts of the situation before anyone can help you. And - the correct prices, the term of your contract, and when it's due for renewal.0 -

Just answer the questions I have asked, without assuming I haven't already got the information you've mentioned.
All you need to worry about is what's in my post, not whether or not I know the full facts.
The full facts are what is in my post. What I don't have the full facts about is what was going through my housemate's mind when she thought that getting these deals was a good idea.0 -
Then I apologise for trying to help you by interacting on your thread.
Bye bye.0
