So me and my OH live together, we've done main presents but this is the 1st year we've had stockings up so I wanted to put a little something other than chocolate in them.

My budget is £5-£10 at max.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thank you in advance :)

Lottery Ticket I always put one in the crackers too :T

    Debt-free and Proud!
Need to add a small book if I can find one, a satsuma and a lump of coal ;)

I thought coal was for New Year? ie tall dark handsome bloke, shortbread and coal for first footing. Does it have meaning at christmas elsewhere?

I thought it was a 'threat' to naughty boys and girls who misbehave when Santa is watching!
    Than again, I've been wrong before...once :D

I thought it was if you were 'naughty' Santa left you a lump of coal in your stocking instead of any presents :)

For me personally, this is more a sorta Valentines thing :)

True. But seeing as it's a 12 month thing I figured I could get away with it ;)

  • Right, finished my OHs today. He has:

    - Chocolate coins (25p)
    - Whistle pop (everyone has one so we can make a song on Christmas morning :p) (20p)
    - Can of mountain dew (75p)
    - Bottle of sour mash brew (£1.50)
    - 'Invisible' hobbit figure (£2.30)
    - Brain teasers book (99p)
    - Touch screen gloves (£1)
    - Shampoo/Shave gel (£1 each)
    - Christmas lolly (75p)
    - Tie (£2, primark)
    - Socks (£1.50, primark)
    - Glasses repair kit (£1)
    - Emergency phone charger (£3, primark)
    - Headphone winder (£2)
    - Candy cane

The Thorntons have been transferred to my Dads stocking as they wouldn't fit in. Kinda misjudged the amount of 'extra' I needed to buy today, lol. But it's definitely all done and not tooooo expensive either! Combined with his actual presents I've kept under £70 which I'm more than happy with!
