Stocking ideas for OH?

So me and my OH live together, we've done main presents but this is the 1st year we've had stockings up so I wanted to put a little something other than chocolate in them.

My budget is £5-£10 at max.

Any ideas anyone?

Thank you in advance :)

    Socks is a good one!

He's always whinging his have holes in :rotfl:
  • novelty pen/pad if he's likely to use one
    mug
    cheapy gloves/fingerless gloves/woolly hat
    a little puzzle
  • I'm doing my fiance a stocking too! So far I've put in it -
A little thing that he can put his iphone in that turns it in to a hand hold gaming console (for when he's playing Angry Birds and the like!) got this from Poundland
A whistle to find your keys finder - Primark
A mini bat signal batman light (Amazon) just a little novelty thing, he's a big kid!
A horn thing to attach to his iphone so that his music amplifies - Primark (he likes to put music on his phone when he's in the shower but can never hear it properly!)
And a mini vacuum cleaner for his computer, I got that from B&M
Body Shop apple body wash (the shampoo I use is apple scented and he always nicks it so I thought he'd enjoy this ha!)
    Rubiks Cube keyring - Amazon

Think that's all I've got so far but I'll pad it out with choc and sweets etc. I think boys like their toys so it's always a good idea to get mini gadgets puzzles or games etc! Primark have a lot of good little stocking fillers at the mo and in my local Primark they keep reducing them, too.

    Hope this helps.
  • I'm doing a stocking for my OH (who is male, 24), it is full already! I have:

    Photo mug (£2.50 photobox)
Plain blue fruit of the loom Tshirt (he pretty much only likes plain Ts!) £2.40 eBay
    iPhone gloves (£1 pound land)
    Caramelised almonds (£3 Christmas market)
2 tubes hand cream (he gets chapped hands in his job) (£2 SuperDrug)
Rechargeable Batteries (for his toy helicopter) £2 amazon
    Battery charger

I have also put in a few more expensive gifts (3 Blu rays) and it is almost completely full! Other ideas I had were a photo keyring, marvel earphones (I bought iron man ones but I'm giving to my brother), stress ball, iPhone case, the iPhone horn and key finder noted above, other food he likes (cashews, pringles, mini cans of Pepsi max), a scarf, shower gel/ toiletries... It could definitely be filled pretty cheaply if need be!
  • Ive made a stocking for my other half as well. Hes 22 and currently i have bought:

    New fillers for his filofax
A battery operated phone charger for the car - £2 in primark
Small phone stand - £3 in primark
    Boxers - primark
    Socks - primark
    Tube of chocolate
Touch screen gloves - £1 in primark
    Small game - asda
Pen set for work - asda
    Toothbrush - asda
Can of mountain dew - £1.50
    Smellies - bought all over

Definitely agree boys do like their toys and gadgets. I quite like to buy small practical things for the stocking and then buy other fun things for his main presents.

  • So far my OH has in his stocking...

    Touchscreen gloves (poundland)
Jeremiah Weed Sour Mash brew (Morrisons, £1.50 for a 500ml bottle)
    A small bag of Thorntons
    A chocolate lollipop :o

I've just ordered him an 'invisible' Bilbo Baggins from Amazon for £2.30, most expensive thing hopefully!
    £2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January

  • I was just coming to this board to ask this very question! Thank you!

  • Hey guys.
Haven't checked this in a day or so. Thanks for all your suggestions!

The gloves for a touch screen seem to be a popular idea; have actually bought him a Nokia Lumia as 1 of his main prezzies so may be a v good idea!

    :)
