02 Bill help

Options
Hi,

Im currently in a contract with O2, i checked today how many minutes i had left when i recieved the text notifying me of this it said the additional charges for the month were £25.92.

When i saw this I logged onto my account it i saw the charges were from this number 0843410233955 when i tried to google it, it is not recognised it states the call was from the 14/12 at 17:48 however i was at work at this time and was not on the phone is there any way of getting these charges taken off, has anyone had it happen to them? I am unable at the minute to ring 02 because they are shut.

Thank you in advance

Well that number is too long, I think. But knock off the last 2 numbers and you get this http://www.411phonesearch.co.uk/08434102339-phone-number

    Didn't ring them ?

Are you saying the number called you and you were charged £25 for it ???
I'm wondering if you have too many digits and the number should be shorter

Thinking about it I wonder if it's one of those numbers where you press a digit such as 5 twice and it becomes a chargeable call ???

Do you think you may have pressed 5 twice by mistake ?

there was no reply and no i didnt press 5 twice because i have a touch screen phone i have to press a different button to get the key pad to come up

i know what i did as i was just coming back off my break because the time on the bill matches 5 mins before i was due back at work i was putting my jacket back when it went off i answered heard nothing and put the phone down then i went back to work and forgot about it.

i have had PPI calls before but they normally talk and i normally just put the phone down on them im just annoyed about it all because i dont have to money to waste on a stupid phone call i didnt make :(

To be fair to O2 they are usualy pretty good about this sort of thing.
They will investigate it I'm sure.

Keep us posted what they say on Monday ;)
