Thanks for all the help so far,
Seven-day-weekend I still have to pay for my prescriptions 4times six pounds odds which is quite exp,
I will look into the links that Morglin has left but some of the people on these threads are experts in these fields which can help, I still don,t understand how I don,t get any payments towards anything after at least 7yrs,

Because you will not be entitled to Incapacity Benefit (which is NOT means-tested) unless you have PAID enough Class One Contributions (through working). Credited or Voluntary Contributions do not count. If this is the case you will receive Income Support instead which IS means-tested. Therefore if your wife/partner earns above the threshold you will not receive any money.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

it is I just don,t seem to have any paper work saying this also my wife stops work in two and a half years would this make a difference to payments?

Hi, I am also on IB & pay for my prescriptions. However i get a PPI card & that cuts down the cost quite considerably. Why not look into it, it may save you some money.0 -
As far as I am aware, if you are on Income Support you only need to fill in the back of the prescription to get them free.
Whether your wife working or not makes a difference depends on your income (if you are on Income Support).
Personally, I would ring the DWP and ask if you are on Income Support.
