the suction will only start when the hoover is not upright, ie when you've pressed the pedal

YEESSSS! get in there! Mine finally arrived today (ordered 24/4). A few scuffs here and there, to be expected, but brilliant performance!

By the way, it's the brushes that wont work when the hoover is upright - protects the floor.

    Many thanks OP:beer:

I ordered mine on the 25th of April. I received a reply from my email on the 16th of May saying: "The Lift-Off Reconditioned has recently gone out of stock, however as your order has already been placed please allow up to 28days."

    Fingers crossed.

Maybe I should contact them again.

It came today. Looks brand new. It weighs a ton but boy it can hoover!

I got the stair tool too.

My only bugbear is that it won't go under the sofa, but such is life with an upright.

It sure is good , I'm embarassed at the amount of dust , dog hairs etc that the cylinder has in it after every sweep .

yes i knew that, but there's still not much when I place my hand there. Having said that the dust collector is filling nicely with dust, but I have trouble picking up bigger bits eg cat biccies!

Anyone reading this who has received theirs - can you try putting your hand underneath when the pedal is down (not with the powerbrush on lol, you may lose your hand!). Like to know if I have a dud
