Usually if you deposit and a gambling site issues you with a bonus you will have to meet certain wagering requirements before you can cash out both your deposit, bonus, and winnings generated by them both.

You don't mention whether or not they have issues you with a bonus, (it doesn't sound like they have) but if you have been issued a bonus you could try contacting them and asking to forefit the bonus and, hence the wagering requirement.

Regardless of bonuses, some sites have it in their terms and conditions that you must turnover your deposit at least once before withdrawing - they usually include this term to cover the fees charged by the payment processers.

However, a requirement to make wagers totalling £270 on a £20 deposit is completely unreasonable and most reputable sites would not have such a requirement.

I suspect that you have signed up to one of the Bingo sites advertised on TV or in various magazines, though these sites may look attractive many are owned and operated by companies not based in the UK and regulated under Maltese Gambling regulators, known in the gaming industry to be a "joke" regulator.

If it was a company based in the UK the first thing that would spring to my mind is the unfair terms in contracts regulations 1999 (UK legislation), but since the parent company will not be based in the UK it will be difficult to mediate with.

I would perhaps consider asking the bank to issue a chargeback?
