Man looking for his daughter trapped in a room but everytime he goes through a door he ends up somewhere else outside. Sureish it was about 6 years or so ago.

This is really bugging me....................................

Also Im looking for programmes similar to Fringe if anyone knows any.

Was it "The Lost Room", iirc it was about a room where every item in it had some significance, and the key would always lead to the room if he used it anywhere else, but would also take him through any other door he wanted it to (or had been/knew about).
