I obviously don't know your situation but I can say that I've sold everything that wasn't nailed down basically to get my money up together.
I currently have 36 items on there now to pay for us to eat next week b/c it's that bad right now after spending out for him to go BR.
Look, look and look again for stuff to sell, I swear I don't know how but many times I've said 'we've nothing left to flog' but we always find something or another.
As I said, the only other option would be to try the DWP. Bit sneaky but needs must. Say you need a new cooker or a fridge, something that you HAVE to have to live basically. It might take you a few days for them to process it and come through but worth a shot?
Let us see your SoA, maybe you can stop paying everything but the very basic for a month or two. So just your rent and utilities. Let the Virgin one slide and anything else. They won't cut you off straight away anyway, I've been up to 2 payments late before they've restricted our services.:: BCSC #71 but now discharged! ::0 -

They won't take you to court, it's more money for them to shell out, it's easier for them to simply berate and harass you into paying them money.
Honestly, *if* they were to take you to court, it would take more than a month or so anyway and you could simply tell the court you were applying for BR. It won't happen anyway, it's never happened to me and I've had debts I've not been paying for many, many months.
Who are ndr exactly?
It's only going to be for a couple of months though so I wouldn't worry too much. If the calls are too much, ignore them. If you are with the likes of BT, change your number or maybe get caller ID?
Yes, Provident are rip off artists. I regret ever getting involved but needed the cash to pay our rent one month.:: BCSC #71 but now discharged! ::0
