Samsung do not have warranty for grey import is well known .
Its not a worldwide warranty though and is restricted essentially to area of that phones sales code .

Aus warranty not valid in UK and UK warranty not valid in India etc .
Samsung 2 year warranty certainly applies to UK phones and as far as i am aware covers the EU not just the UK .

Purchasers of phones online should be aware that they may well be buying a phone from a different region though most would not even think of that question .

Yet another fresh case: Samsung S3 stopped working - advise please
  • I got mine from CEX and paid £385 for a 16gig mint condition white S3. It was new in the box. It actually only cost me £20 as I traded in some old games and DVD's and a PS Vita I did not play with.

An unlocked mint condition is now only £380. You can drop £30-40 off that price if you filter to the network you are after.
