  • When they said it was ina cardboard box I assumed this would be a gift box, rather than just the packaging. Notn sure what I'm going to do when I give it.

I am thinking of getting a basket from Dunelm mill (as they seems to stock cheap ones) along the lines of:

My hamper is coming tomorrow - I like cheese so if it is stinky we'll have to eat it early :D

:mad::mad::mad::mad: tracking says that they tried to deliver at 10.01. RUBBISH!!! DH was sitting 6 feet from the front door and nothing stopped nearby, nobody came to the door and no card was left.

Comfort me, will the cheese be well enough packed to be edible if they don't deliver till tomorrow?

Yes, my 'frozen freezer pack thingies' were still frozen when I got mine so should be OK. Yours will just be extra stinkee....tee hee! ;)

:shocked:this is the nearest I can find to express my surprise.

DH phoned Parcel Force and explained that there was a box of soon-to-be-extremely -STINKY cheese sitting round and ...... they just delivered it.
Five minutes ago. No drama just a ring at the doorbell and ....:T:T:T Wow. Parcel Force, Swansea, THANKYOU :o

  • Sorry to bump this thread, but am looking for some advice - I ordered a hamper from Waitrose (wish I'd seen this first!) This arrived today - the contents are lovely = all as stated and in good condition - but the hamper itself is damaged, the leather ette strap/buckle has seperated from the hamper and is not fixable by me/hubby. I have phoned to see if waitrose will send over a new wicker hamper - but they have none available. They have offered me a £10 credit - but I am unhappy with this - I cant gift a damaged hamper - kids are on half day tomorrow and I really have a ton to do reather then go to town to get another hamper - and it would probably cost more then £10 in petrol/parking - never mind the hassle. Any suggestions as to what I should do next? Waiting for them to call me back but seriously upset/frustrated.

Thanks to all who post, and GL to all who try!!
  • Woooop got my hamper yesterday and it was amazing, it was the £125 down to £31, amazing...wouldn't have paid £125 for it though lol, so thanks for this, I'm so happy xx

Not amused....parcel due for delivery at work today, showing as delivered at 11.43am - no it wasn't! I work in a private health clinic with only one reception and in the middle of nowhere with no other companies around and it's not here!

I have spent 20 minutes on phone to parcelforce and am now waiting for a call to tell me where the heck the driver has left it. Apparently M&S use a 'no signature required' service so the driver has dumped it somewhere.....!!

  • My sister had the same thing happen yesterday!
Because it is a perishable item ( and the cheese STINKS) the drivers are under instruction to leave it "in a safe place"
After 20 minutes searching we found it in a neighbours hedge!!!
So have a good scout around, it could be in a pretty obscure place!!
    Hope you find it.
