Does anyone know, how much changing a faulty combi to a new condensing boiler costs?

Its really going to depend on the installation and the pipe runs. If you are going from a combi back to a more traditional tanked system then there is a fair bit of work to do and things like the position of the tanks etc will make a difference to how long its going to take.
I would suggest calling in at least three heating engineers and getting detailed quotes.0 -

those boilers are not cheap about 700 up,gas pipe has to be 22mm,if you are on qualifying benefits you can get a grant from warm front for upto £2700 for new boiler and heating upgrade but it takes 6 months or so.
Condensing boilers don't require a tank its all mains fed.don't get mad do yoga0 -

just googled this subject and yes you can have condensing boiler with hot water cylinder.Do you not mean Combi boilers don't require a tank?
All new boilers sold are now condensing boilers; but some are the 'normal' type that heat water that goes to a hot water tank.don't get mad do yoga0
