Acer 17" TFT Screen £99.17 delivered [CLOSED]

When I ordered, about a couple days ago, the stock status must have been minus, as I also noticed it went up by 1 after I ordered. However, I just checked my credit card statement online and they have charged my account. Would they have to deliver the item?

ordered one just in case it is a correct price, not bothered if they cancel it or not, worth a shot.

though i sense this could be another case similar to ebuyer. money taken, contract formed etc etc, uh oh!

no, not necessarily. They will probably just cancel the orders and refund the credit card.

I can't find any Ts and Cs on the site at all either, oh dear...

I know I've been waiting for a 17" to hit the £100 mark but somehow I doubt very much this is a legit offer, especially as the website is showing minus stock figures

Well, as for this monitor - I can recommend it, as I bought it today from Comet, suprised to see this thread appear the day I buy the same model for £145!

Heh, Minus 49 in stock this morning,
shame I missed this, was gonna build a small video wall by stripping out the panels and using 4 17" to make a huge 34" 2560x2048 displaty

Acer have been running a promotion via their distributors. If you bought an Acer PC, you could buy a 17" TFT (the 1715sm) for £69 + VAT. It's possible this place has bought a load and is splitting the PCs / monitors.

On the other hand, probably a good ol' miss price!
