Labour Will Expect Immigrants To Work Hard Pay Taxes And Join In

Glad to hear Ed Miliband talking such good sense on immigration! My lovely lovely dentist (careful, competent and .... gentle!) is Polish, my caring sensitive GP is Indian and my advisor is Irish ! All for it if they help out, grow the economy and join in! Interested to hear rest of speech and debate today!

If only Labour had this viewpoint when they were in government instead of turning a blind eye to benefits tourism...

    ;)
you are getting funnier each post Generali.

I'm sure there must be some Englishman in your area though, or at least decedants of Englishmen who were [STRIKE]deported [/STRIKE]emmigrated a couple of hundred years ago

What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

  • Of course Britons should speak English. Why is the Labour leader announcing this like it's some sparklingly brilliant new idea?
    They are an EYESORES!!!!

Come on, dont be so hard on them. Its taken 2 and a half years to come up with this. Next you'll be expecting them to have some sort of economic plan ready in time for the next election. Some people are just so demanding from politicians.

Utter claptrap from Milliband, how can this possibly be achieved with open uncontrolled borders and, more to the point - why should the taxpayer fund it?
  • Lets be clear about this. What the government (whether Labour or Tory) care about is providing cheap non unionised labour to business, because that's what their friends in business care about.

They're all "talking tough" on immigration now because the economy is flatlining and there are plenty of unemployed workers willing to work for peanuts as it is.

As soon as employment picks up again and the needle starts to turn back in favour of the worker rather than the employer, we will be back to waves of immigrants out competing one another to offer the cheapest labour for the lightest contracts.

Politicians dont care about you, they dont care about your jobs or your communities or social cohesion or your kids in state school or stable employment. They care about "them", and it is "them" who decide what happens with immigration policy.

Probably a lot more Englishmen than native Australians.
  • Why do we not have better control of imigration. Try getting into Australia, or the US and see the hoops you have to jump throug - and God help you if your not earning your way or payihg Tax's. We should be no different, and the fact Labour are only just beginning to see this is just one more reason why they should never be given a sniff of power ever again.
  • Careful you will upset the original inhabitants - now banished to the Celtic fringes.

Seriously though I had to do some "work" in Benbecula amongst some dark haired statuesque (think Venus) women.
The theory was that they were the product of hybrid vigour dating back to 1588.
So some good came of the efforts of the flame haired weak and feeble woman, granddaughter of a Welsh gangster, who set the scene for the interbreeding.
