If something like my data is downloaded then she should be able to back through each day and see exactly how much mobile data each app web browser etc is using per day and then consider her options.
If I look at my phone even though I have been on wifi all morning various apps including maps, weather clock, what's app, viber etc have used mobile data but none have been over 100kb and total is less than a mb.0 -
When the phone sleeps it drops the wifi connection and reverts to data. Turn mobile data off when not in use. I know you said you don't get a signal but it may be just enough.
I think there is an option somewhere of making it leave the wifi on even when asleep.0 -
She's just installed my data manager as she hasn't tried that yet, but looks like it'll only give info from today.
She's just seen how much allowance she has left & it's used 80mb in 2 days.0 -
She says she's researched a bit & found that apparently the Facebook app is known for using a lot of data.
As said, she topped up on 1st Dec. She's used 80mb in the past 2 days but not done anything spectacular on the phone. Here's a few screenshots....

Hi, can anyone tell me in a really simple way (my brain can't cope with anything too complicated!) how to put a cap on internet usage on an iphone 5 please?
My hubby has 1gb for internet use and I need to work out how to stop him going over that amount. I've googled and can't see how to do this.
Thanks for your help
