Who are the insurance companies involved?

When the OH was hit by a TP, I called our insurer to arrange accident recovery. By the time I got home the TP's insurer had called to say that they were taking ownership of the claim and to put everything through them.

He asked if I had contacted our insurer and when I said I had he gave a slight groan, but I told him it was only to arrange accident recovery and that was OK.

not sure its fair to name them, as its more than likely the person who hasn't reported it,
I've just received an email off mine saying its been passed onto a solicitors already, still don't know if the accident has been reported yet?
