Does anywhere accept 'unwearable' clothes/shoes?

Oxfam sort them at their recycling centres and any unsaleable clothes are recycled in other ways.

How about local homeless shelters (if they are are not too bad)?
Or, failing that, just take them to your local clothing bank.
