I would be interested to know this as well. On past experience they only make these special offers randomly so some get them and others don't.

Is it on the whole balance, or just the extra £100 deposits?

Make sure you keep a copy of the leaflet that they've sent you - Natwest have had similar offers in the past, and they haven't been very good at paying out, with many people having to complain in order for Natwest to honour the offer.

Are you able to scan/photograph the letter and post it on here?

    it says:
grow your savings with a bonus especially for you, no need to register pay £100 or more into your account each month (6 months). over next 6 months from dec 1st to 30th june pay £10 or more into your e-savings account we'll give you a 2% gross pa fixed interest bonus on your e-savings account. at the end of the bonus period the rate will return to the standard variable. simply pay £100 or more in by 25th Jan. Any queries call 08457 888 444 or call into your local branch.

the bonus rate is additional to thestandard variable interestrate.

just seen in small print by invitation only - so i guess not open to all - so check the post and don't chuck any nat west flyers away without reading them. you could try calling nat west and very nicely ask why your friend had the letter and you didn't??

i'm well chuffed as I was getting 0.1% at the great
(not) leading building soc Nationwide and they even asked me why I was closing the account! lol!

The title of the post should say "2% pa gross bonus paid monthly"
    not 2% monthly bonus.
Giving a total gross rate of 3% pa

I think you interpreted the 2% interest terms wrongly.

    noh (below quote) is correct.
