circus circus does a fantastic steak but you need to book in advance. Paris buffets are wonderful and quite cheap at around 25 dollars but there will be a queue. if you carry on through to ballys and go out of the side entrance, theres a 24 hour steak house across the road which also does a very reasonable breakfast. Then there are a couple of chinese buffets dotted around, one is in the Frontier (very cheap for booze). worst place to eat in my view is New York New York. Its very dull and dingy and seems to serve only fast food....boring!
  • Chinese resturant in Paris is excellent only been open 3 years and usually have to book in advance but worth it, can't remember its name. Been twice a year since it opened and excellent everytime.
Can't fault most casino buffets but if you like seafood the seafood buffet at rio is out of this world it's only on thurs nights but worth the wait. Been to Vegas twice a year for the last 14years and never really ate anywhere which i thought was terrible.
Enjoy Las Vegas I am going again in 2 weeks.

Hi there, we are Vegas-bound again for our 7th visit in 10 years.

Buffets are numerous, available at all hotels and casinos. The quality does vary, and as with most things in life 'you get what you pay for'.

However, most breakfast buffets offer similar foods and are of similar quality.

For lunch and dinner buffets, the Planet Hollywood (formerly the Aladdin) has won recent awards and has good quality food and a large choice of styles which you wouldn't find boring if you ate there many times. We are staying here for a week this time we go.

You can notice the difference between a buffet priced at $9.99 and one at $18.99 in our experience.

When you are down on the SOuth end of the Strip near MGM Grand, New York New York, Monte Carlo area there is a Dennys opposite the Monte Carlo. Dennys is one of the US equivalents of Little Chef - with good US style service. Here you can get just omelettes and regular burgers at good prices. I think it is still there, it was last time we visited about 3 years ago.

    Have a good time!

    Hi,

Just got back from Vegas on Friday. My personal recommendations (we ate at these ourselves) would be :

Grand Lux Cafe @ Venetian - Part of Cheescake Factory group with excellent menu, service and food (inc. desserts) !

Spice Market Buffet @ Planet Hollywood - Nice fresh food, supposed to be one the best buffets in Vegas.

Hugo's Cellar @ Four Queens - Quite expensive but super food (and plenty of it).

There are so many places to choose from and I don't think we actually had a bad meal while we were there.

    Hope this helps.

The buffets are by far the best value in Vegas and one of the best we've found(we've been 20+ times) is the Orleans French Market buffet. They have food from all over the world and the choice and quality is very good plus it's cheap and as it's off strip there are no queues. Gold Coast and South Coast Casinos are also in the same chain and have good buffets too.I would avoid any buffets on Fridays/Saturdays as they are always busy. Some of the downtown ones are also good. On strip, Falmingo Hilton has the nicest setting overlooking the pool and water with exotic birds etc. MGM is pretty good and Monte Carlo is nice.

    Hi

My Husband, Myself and Our Daughter (6) are going to Vegas for a week at the end of May and want some recommendations for good places to eat. I love desserts so could live on Cheesecake in cheesecake factory all week but Husband likes to eat real food too! We would also like to do a couple of buffets too.

    Thanks Andrea

    NO NO NO NO NO

PLEASE you have got to go to this place, its called bootleggers, about 5 minutes out of town. Its run by the mafia and they get all the top acts performing there on their nights off, it really is a hidden gem. Amazing food, amazing entertainment. I had my wedding reception there last year and it was absolutley superb, a proper little treasure.
  • Delmonico Steakhouse - tucked away in the Venetian. Owned/run by the TV chef Emeril Lagasse. Best steak I've had and outstanding service. Not cheap, but rather pleasant.

Buffet - Bellagio was nice; go on a Sunday for unlimited champagne, plus lots of yummy food -including excellent king prawns - for $35. Be prepare dto stand in line though (that's queue to you & I).

Voodoo Lounge is the afore-mentioned restaurant at Rio. Views across the Las Vegas Strip and free entry to the club (usually $25 at the weekend). Call ahead and skip the line; stay for a cocktail and enjoy the view. Go early (before about 10) and you'll pretty much have the place to yourself.

Mostly the food is pretty good considering the volume served! Enjoy!
