My order has arrived at work in 2 MASSIVE boxes with Yankee Candle emblazened across the sides of the boxes, so couldn't even pretend they were work related! I wasn't expecting them to be so big. Just got to work out how to get them home now so I can open them and them find room for them in the gift drawer....might need a bigger drawer. I've seen some of the items on QVC and they looked nice, but as others have said were too expensive, so I'm really excited about opening them. Feels like Christmas all over again! And they'll be great with the half price t lights I picked up from Clintons last week - that's Christmas 2014 in the bag. Woo hoo!
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

There is so much bubble wrap and boxes within boxes ...honestly the price we paid wouldn't cover the packaging costs!! I so glad others managed to grab a bargain too....and there seems to be lots, left

This is a tart warmer...you put the tart on the top and a tea light underneath....dot think you need a plate to put it on and certainly not a top as that would affect it working and being able to smell it

Me either (although had them bought for me) so joined their site today and got free delivery!
  • Has anyone ordered from the Yankee Doodle website before? I placed an order yesterday. I know the company changed hands but they had some good offers and I am pretty sure I used them before a few years ago. My confirmation email says it has been dispatched and will be with me within 48 hours, I can track the parcel on Parcelforce.
The website for Yankee Doodle will now not work for me.

Have I just been scammed? I am normally so careful. Has anyone else used them and can reassure me this is just a server issue and a genuine company.

I've used them recently and they were excellent so hopefully their site is just undergoing maintenance.

Thanks. I hope so too. Certainly the company seems to be mentioned on this thread now I've looked through it. I was just worried as I had been looking at a few yankee candle sites before settling on that particular one which I thought I had used before. Will hope it is routine maintenance and cross my fingers, will let this thread know either way.
  • Sure it is just a blip. They are well known.
