my order is due Monday, fingers crossed it's all there and all in good condition. I'm impressed with the speed of their despatch, it's my first order with them!

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

just a question about the votive holders, do you just put the votive candle in, does it all melt away, and if not how do you get the rest out

Put a bit of water on the bottom of the votive and it should be easier to get out, if ours get stuck we tend to use a knife/fork to pull it away from the holder.

Yes it melts leaving the metal wick holder, you pop that out with a knife and wash in warm soapy water. With all Yankees as long as you allow 2-3 hours burn time they use all the wax, if you burn for a small time then extinguish they tunnel leaving wax behind

If you look at the base of the candle you will see the metal wick holder, it is a small metal circle in middle of the base.

When you have burnt the candle fully just use a blunt knife to pop it off the holder.

  • I always put mine in the freezer for 10 mins then use blunt knife to pop out any residual wax.

I put my tart burner in freezer but wash my votive jars as they get a small residue left on the inside of the glass jar x
