Intermitant broadband

I had Talk Talk broadband for along time and been fine.Two days ago it went erratic, I use Firefox and IE on Vista, now either may or not work or tell me they cant find the sever but if you push refresh there is a good chance it will work.Sometimes it will do 4/5 pages perfectly and then tell me it cant find the sever. This is the same with email. Any ideas anybody?

Have you cleared your internet cache recently? Are you on a wired or wireless connection.? Are you losing your connection indicated by the @indicator on your modem/router.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

On a wired connection,the router lights are all alight and no christmas lights yet, not knowingly cleared internet cache, would it help if I did it or could it have cause a problem if it had been done? I have done other scans and they might have done it! Thanks for the answers so far0
