I think I was given these vouchers in Asda today. The assistant mentioned if I didnt want them ,there was a box in the foyer where they could be put,and are then shared out. This is pretty impressive stuff, cos this is extra work for Asda.Welldone!

Its a bit like the 'use your own bags and get extra tesco points' - about half the time you don't get them (in my local store) and its too embarrassing/not worth going to customer services for your extra point or two!

Like I said before, we have a lot to remember:o It is most helpful if you are using your own bags, to say how many you have got when you are greeted. Bag points can be put on any time during the shop. If you have large bags or a shopping trolley you will get extra points.

you have to prompt the c/o operator for the points for any bags you re-use, although when i worked at sainsburys i remembered to ask the customer how many bags they had reused

I cant understand how it would never go down too well, i dont work in tescos but in sainsburys and im always happy to give the kids vouchers to the next customer,

For a good while I never had a problem, then - I can't remember exactly when - Sainsbury's staff told me they weren't allowed to pass on vouchers to other customers so I stopped for a while. After a short time I started whispering discretely to them if they could possibly give my vouchers to the next customer who wanted them. I think they must have either been worried that they'd get into trouble or, more likely, thought I was mad.
