O2 Broadband: Changing address but not moving home?

Hey I haven't been using my O2 broadband because I've been using a second broadband connection which is better instead, I am still under contract until with O2 april 13.

I was wondering if I could rather pass the broadband to a relative until it's expired and then cancel it. Shall I say to O2 that I want to move home? Rather than saying that I want the broadband moved?
Also does it renew the contract?
