O2 Top Up
My Mum is for getting five £10 top ups for Christmas presents and I was wondering can I go into a shop and ask for five £10 top ups so then the payg users which the presents are for can add them to their phones when they need them? Is it possible to do this online either?
BTW I am not payg so I don't know much about top ups.

I'd be getting 5 OVIVO SIM's instead. They cost £10 and give the recipient 100 minutes and 100 texts and some data every month for free....forever...or at least until Ovivo quit the market which seems to be at least quite a while away.
Top-ups really should be applied directly to the mobile using the top up card that each person has as it reduces the risk of loss of the vouchers to almost zero.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I've bought top-up vouchers for Orange before - they are just a till receipt with a barcode and number on them that can be typed in to the phone.
They do need to be entered within a certain time though or they expire (I think it is 6 months, but check the small print); I once had one purchased at Tesco that said it was expired when I went to use it, but it was before the date printed on it and so I got a refund.
I assume the other companies offer similar.0 -
I've just found this information,
"Top-up voucher
Go to any O2 shop or anywhere you see the green top-up logo and ask for an O2 top-up. You can pay by cash or card. Then call 4444 free from your mobile, or 08456 062 277 from a landline, enter the number on your receipt and follow the instructions. Top up between £10 and £50. Your voucher will expire after twelve months."0 -
I buy my o2 top ups with my shopping at Tesco.
They are valid for 6 months (bought one this week and just checked it)
They are a papertop up not linked to any phone, they earn clubcard points too.
I spent £40 + £10 top up and got a 5p per litre petrol coupon, although the terms of the petrol promotion excludes top ups.
