Do I still get Air Miles, Seat Choice etc, if I use a TA ?

Previously, I've always booked my flights directly with the Airline (usually AA or BA) which means that I get the relevant airmiles, plus the ability to check into my flight 24 hours before, to self select my seat. I've done this for several years and I'm happy to carry on doing so.
Recently, the sports club that I have an affilatiuon with has started usung a website which gives cashback (at various levels) for using one of the online retailers. Several; of these are online retailers are travel agents and their cashback rates are typically 0.5% - 2% on a spend. I'm keen to support my sports club with some additional funds, but not at the detriment to my holiday pleasure !
Sooooooo, if I book my BA flights through (say) Expediaa, will I still get my AAadvantage miles and the ability to log onto BA.com to self select my seats ?
cheers

For a straightforward flight purchase, thats not going to be to insiduous ?
All that needs to be done now is for me to display a bit of patience and wait for the next round of seat sales -- at the current prices to the US, it feels more like I'm BUYING the seat, rather than hiring it for a few hours.0 -

Not if there are no problems. Just know that if there is, you'll most likely have to go through Expedia to get them sorted.0
