My T-Mobile weirdness
I have been a registered user of T-Mobile for months. I have been using their online "My T-Mobile" page to look at my PAYG account. Today, when I logged in, I saw this on the middle of the page:
I could use the portal, see my balance and recent use, etc., but obviously I found the message above a bit disconcerting. I didn't press "I have read this message", instead I phoned T-Moblie customer support to ask what was up.
After a 1 hour 12 minutes wait, I got to speak to a nice young man who could not tell me anything other than that he could not find my number on the system and that I should re-register for My T-Mobile... He din't seem to understand that this advice was somewhat incongruous with the fact that I was surfing the My T-Mobile site as we spoke.
I asked who could help me if he couldn't and eventually he said I should go to an EE shop and ask there.
Google shows I am not the only one: Digital Spy
Anyone else have this weird message?

I also noticed this. I presume it means that you'll have to register for the My EE (or whatever) online site at some pointSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -

I think I'll contact them via Twitter - they're normally pretty quick to reply on there.

Found a solution on T-mobile forums - this message will also have removed the webtext function, so here's how to get it back:
"Anyway, log in to MyT-Mobile, go to #My Account Details and then #Manage Accounts. - Set main t-mobile number from the drop down and click update.
Log out and then back in and in my case 'Send Web Text' was back as an option."Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
