Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam No idea why you removed it as it was something I learnt from this site - bizarre
  • I have called them and they are not able to answer any specific relating to individual accounts (or give much useful information at all from what I gathered).

They also appear unable to access or provide information about specifics of old accounts (prior to NRAM). However, I've come across this before with them when claiming redemption fees - it tends to depend on who you speak to or what you're asking. Some people are able (or willing) to give the information quite easily, while others state that they cannot access old records.
  • BaconandEggs,

I called them and had no problems in obtaining the information ... for me case closed. I was even told they had been trained on the matter ...

Maybe luck of the draw, I give my call handler 10/10 for clarity and understanding.

Part of the Furniture 100 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
I called and asked them about it, me and the wife took out a 125% mortgage in 2005, this included a loan for £12000 odd.

We redeemed it in 2007 when we changed mortgage provider.

The lady seemed a bit rushed but still got all my details and said I would get a letter sent through in the post. She kept saying that if I was eligible I would get a letter, but I've moved house since then so how would they know where to send the letter?

Anyway, still not sure if I qualify? She couldn't really say for sure.

If you redeemed in in 07 you are not affected. It is from 2008 to 2012 (i think)

Hmmmm got someone who I think doesn't know the answers. She said only secured loans on a together mortgage were included, contrary to what is on the website

    "
    » Unsecured personal loan
» Unsecured personal loan linked to a Together Mortgage
» Unsecured personal loan that was originally linked to a Together Mortgage
    » Secured personal loan

    "
I'll wait for a letter and if I don;t hear anything by the new year ring them again.

  • Hi i have received a letter about this confusing statement, i do not have a 16 digit account number and still have my together mortgage!!
I am hoping when the next letters come about and if i am entitled to a refund i am planning on pushing for a cheque instead of it being taken from the balance!!
  • It's been a week since the letters were sent and I haven't got one :(.

I had a together mortgage that I took out in 2005.

Looks like I'm an unlucky one :(
As at End of June 2014
    Credit Cards - HSBC - £9422
    Loans - NRAM £7500 & £12848
