We have now written to all existing NRAM customers, providing specific details about the impact on their loan account which may include the amount of redress, revised monthly payments and revised term end date if applicable.
We are now focusing our attention on redeemed customers and will write to those who are affected in July 2013.

I am currently involved in a dispute with nram... my personal circumstances have changed but in the past 4 months they have not responded to my offer of payment, then ignored my complaint and when they told me after that time they could not resolve my complaint, they then resolved it a day later "apparently." I have had enough of them, I am almost willing them to take me to court....0

I've had a letter every two months from NRAM saying they are working hard to resolve the situation. Each time saying it will take another two months. Next letter due by end of June but their website says letters in July...any way I can pressure then to sort it?0

I'd say go the FOS but they look about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike0

i've complained to FOS but again doubt it'll make any difference, my complaint is how long it is taking them (6 months + for a refund) here's a brainwave, maybe they could have employed more staff?:rotfl:0 -
my experience so far is this, nobody talks to each other in NRAM, their staff do not even look at your records before calling. I have had the same phone call at least 10 times. My complaint has been looked at twice, has taken 4 months for them to not solve then a day for a final response...., I have just been served with a default notice on my unsecured element of my together mortgage despite the fact it is in dispute. The most sense I got was from a field agent who I had to ask for 3 separate occasions to be instructed, all the time receiving the same bloody repetitive phone calls. How's about the government do as they have started to do with the banks that caused this bloody mess just write the money off as most of us have paid a huge chunk in tax etc to keep these crooks afloat. Oh no lets not do that lets sell them back the banks they destroyed at a discount with lets say, umm, little or no regulation to keep them in check.... really wonder who is in charge of this country!0

Hi Everyone
I am an ex customer and I redeemed my Northern Rock together mortgage in August 2010.
Received a letter today advising that I will be finding out by 31st July how to claim my redress and that I am entitled to the interest I paid back.
I had an unsecured loan of under £25k. First contacted them last December and its taken until today.
To be fair they kept sending letters every four weeks saying they were still looking into things
I will post if I hear anything else
Thanks0 -

finally they are doing something about it and we should all be informed soon. Happy days!

Just received a letter from NRAM today. I must admit that I wasn't aware this was an ongoing problem but soon found out when I Googled to see if it was some kind of scam lol
I had a now redeemed unsecured loan alongside my mortgage - I'll send back the paperwork and see what happens.Neil0
