    Without prejudice.

I have been trying to call all day with no avail - I understand your lines are down at present.
    !
Under advice from my lawyer!I would like to have it formally logged that I do not accept redress to my unsecured loan and would like to have the option to receive payment directly. As this loan was unenforceable due to non compliance with CCA the interest payments made are refundable. It is not up to you to decide without my consent.!
I do not want the terms of this loan to be changed what so ever.!

This is what I sent in my email, add your personal detail and account number and add any parts you want.
As I said very simple but it's logged that you have complained.
Next step once you get final response is send to fos, I can pm you my letter to fos when you need it, just let me know.

    C
    Hiya

I've just had my letter confirming a "would be rather handy to have" £4k should be "coming my way", but by reducing my loan balance. To be honest 4k in my bank account would be more than a little bit handy right now so I want to reject this in preference of getting cash.

Just read the above (and have followed your blog, thanks!) and wanted to get a view on how people are dealing with things.

C, are a lot of people going down the above route or are you hearing lots of people taking alternative routes as well that you're hearing?

Only just got the letter today so I'm guessing I've got a couple of days to make a move.

    Thanks.

    FOS have shafted us all.......

I have received my final response from the fos, which says they will be taking no further action on this matter, no explaination at all!!

I cannot believe this!! I only asked for the money to be returned to my bank account and not my loan.
Others with over 25k loans have also received their reply that they are not entitled to redress as it is not covered and not mis-sold.

Nram have the fos in their pocket, I wonder why?? Perhaps because this came from a government decree!!!!

We now have to take this further. I am on a mission

    Hi c

Sorry to hear this, bad news but not a great surprise really.
NRAM and the powers that be want to put as many people as they can off from taking things further.

I will wait for my letter but I will want to know exactly why they are not willing to take things further. I will want to know what section of what act/law makes what NRAM did both legal and fair because this is the question I was asking and have been from the start. If the FOS can not give me chapter and verse on the legality of what NRAM have done then this is white wash by NRAM and the Government and needs to be exposed.

Jesus, give it up. The free money they've generously knocked off your loan is better than nothing. You're never going to get anywhere demanding it's put in to your bank account. Stop wasting your time.

It's not about the money!!! It's about illegal activity on nrams part.
This is being investigated, they do not have legal rights to our property.
We are not wasting our time we are getting somewhere and have to wait a little while for news of our investigation.
If you are bored then don't read or comment on this as it is a serious issue for a lot of people on here.

I received a letter yesterday saying they are returning an amount of money plus interest and taking it of my loan. I am very happy with this as it means my loan is reduced and will be paid off sooner. All gain for me as far as I am concerned!

Nonsense, not least because your poorly-typed posts on here demonstrate you don't know the difference between illegal and unlawful, even if NRAM's actions could be considered that, which they're not. In either case you should stop trying to claw this money back in to your bank account and take it as the unexpected boon it is.

Who are you to judge anyone? I don't care if my post are poorly written, I am on mobile and usually typing fast, I'm sure people get the jist of it.
Sooo sorry unlawful/illegal whatever, it doesn't really matter does it?
Our action group speaks volumes with the amount of interest and media ad tv interest.
There is a hearing today using all the information we have gathered, and if the judge accepts this and extends for information from nram then it's good news.... We will know later today!

And you always seem to have a stick up your butt, ever tried to be nice!

Come on drussmonkey, no need to be rude.

A little tip for you. Don't try to take the moral high ground while being rude and offensive to other users, It does not work.

    Hi

Do you have any other info on the court action?

    Good news -

The court hearing has been adjourned!

NRAM has been ordered by a judge to present evidence of its titles. The mortgage deed presented - signed only by the borrower - was insufficient evidence of title absent of signature from the bank required under UK law, and NRAM are unable to provide accounting evidence of money loaned.

After ignoring me for 9 months under exemption from FOIA or any other inquiry it appears that they do have to answer to the courts.

We have a second hearing in a month and urgently need to get news of this adjournment out into the public domain as soon as possible.
