I'm pretty sure that VfM4meplse was being sarcastic - saying that your post was far too sensible for a thread that belongs to Brett. I don't think they were actually suggesting you needed to be gracious...!!!
Ah. In which case I did take it the wrong way. Despite everything, and there's a lot of "everything", I do not say this out of ill will towards Brett. Much as I might have reason to sometimes. And Brett may one day be well suited to some forms of care work. But in light of what I have read from Brett himself and from others about things he has said and done over the months I haven't been reading his threads, I don't think that day is tomorrow or next month. Sorry, but I will say it whether he listens or not. Whether his mental health is to blame for his attitudes and misconducts and aberations or not is not relevant. They all indicate a singular unfitness for care work at this time. Ignoring that can only lead to the inevitable - which could cost someone injury or worse, and Brett his freedom and the work he claims to love. It is all an "accident" waiting to happen, and I would rather waste my breath but have said it than feel that I should have said it and didn't.0 -

I was thinking the same whilst I was reading the other thread about the bullying.0 -

What? Including the "fat autistic girl"; the fact you hate Indians and other foreigners; the facts you nearly scalded a client in theif bath due to carelessness; the fact one care employer dismissed you and the second one, your most recent employer, was investigating you, not for the first time, for misconduct? You are going to explain all of that? And throw in how unbalanced all the nurses you work with are for good measure?
Seriously Brett, you are lurching from one disaster to another. Take a break. Work in another field. Get yourself sorted. Nobody reinvents themselves in a few days.0
