Cheapest way to text abroad (in EU)
I sometimes go on holiday with a group of friends and obviously we end up sending lots of texts to each other.
Would it be cheaper to use Whatsapp? Obviously Whatsapp is cheaper in the UK, but data is more expensive abroad. With Ovivo, data abroad in EU is around is around 0.69p per Mb, while texts are 8p. Other mobile operators might charge more for texts and data, but presumably most wouldn't charge more than say £1.50 per MB?
Is fishtext useful for texting while abroad (as opposed to texting to abroad)?
