Lost BBC channels

Since we had the strong winds a couple of weeks ago BBC TV channels have come and gone - mainly gone.

1. Freeview site says I should be able to receive all the channels.

2. I can reach the aerial from a skylight window in the loft. Is it a case of just moving the aerial around until BBC comes back?

3. If I need another stronger aerial which is the best one to get?

Check the aerial to see if its moved thats affecting it

The guy who came from the link wants cash and says its a cable which has split on the roof. The TV nearest the aerial works ok but the one 10 feet further away still wont receive BBC chanells. Since he’s been the one furthest away doesn’t receive anything? Pretty fed up really with it all.

Wants cash? Did you expect him to fix it for free then?
Unless you fancy climbing on the roof yourself you''ll have to pay someone to recable/realign it.
And if you do fancy climbing on the roof, then remember what happened to Rod Hull...

Asking for cash payment does not automatically mean that he is not declaring it...

Its been a long time to reply - sorry. The guy came and it was a split cable - he showed me it, old as anything. He put another cable from the ariel to the TV and all was fine after that.
